Office of the Registrar
A seasoned administrator with extensive experience in university governance, Mr. Asim is expected to play a pivotal role in further strengthening institutional administration, promoting transparency, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the university's ongoing academic and developmental initiatives.
Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC)
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at the University of Okara ensures and enhances the quality of education, research, and administration in line with HEC standards. It implements quality assurance policies, monitors academic and institutional performance, conducts self-assessments, and uses stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement. The QEC also builds faculty and staff capacity through training and workshops. Its systematic quality monitoring and documentation have played a key role in the universityโs inclusion in international rankings such as QS Asia and UI GreenMetric, while promoting accountability, transparency, and sustainability.
Directorate of ORIC
The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Okara supports and organizes research, innovation, and commercialization activities. Its mission is to position the university as a center of high-impact applied research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. ORIC aims to develop and manage research programs aligned with the universityโs educational, social, and economic priorities, ensure research quality meets international standards, and uphold academic freedom, ethical conduct, and full compliance with university policies and regulations.
Directorate of External Linkages
The Directorate of External Linkages (DEL) at the University of Okara builds and strengthens academic, industrial, and research partnerships nationally and internationally. It coordinates MoUs, institutional visits, faculty and student exchange initiatives, and collaborative programs that expand UOโs global academic footprint under the vision of the Vice Chancellor.
Office of Controller of Examination
The office facilitates matters related to examinations, results, transcripts, degrees, and verification. Students and faculty may contact the office during official working hours for guidance and support.
Public Relations Office
Public Relations Office is headed by the Public Relation Officer (PRO) who is also the Spokesperson of the University. This office is tasked with building positive image and enhancing brand value of the institution by functioning as a bridge between the UO and its community. This office issues press releases of all the activities and events so that these can be covered in the print and electronic media. The PR Office also manages the Social Media Platforms of the University.

The Directorate of IT Services at the university manages the IT infrastructure, providing support for networks, hardware, and software to enhance academic and administrative functions. They ensure reliable technology access for students, faculty, and staff while prioritizing IT security and data protection. Additionally, the Directorate promotes digital innovation and offers training to empower users in utilizing technology effectively.
